This week I have learnt how to use place value in multiplication. I was watching a video to help me to understand at first, then I moved on to some practice work. For E.G. 4 x 60 = 240
I know that 4 x 6 = 24 so then 4 x 60 is ten times 4 x 6 so then the answer must be ten times 24 so the answer is 240.
Wel done for making progress on this. I will help you with the problems like 40 x 60 next week. What other strategies do you think you need to learn?
